Lugia EX #086 EX Battle Boost FAQ
What does the 1st Edition stamp mean on this card?
The PSA label reads EX Battle Boost-1st Ed., so this is the first-print run with the 1st Edition mark. Later printings without the mark have their own population and prices. Match the edition when you compare comps.
Why does the card number matter for comps?
Lugia EX has other printings with different numbers and artwork. This slab reads #086 of 093 (shown on the label and the card), so match both the number and the set before comparing sold prices.
What decides a PSA 10 on a modern holo EX?
Centering and surface first, then edges and corners. Foil-heavy cards show print lines and scratches readily, so check the artwork and borders in the photos.
Is the PSA 10 the top of the population?
It is the highest grade PSA assigns, and the cert reports zero cards graded higher. How many other 10s exist is not shown in public sources we can cite, so confirm current counts at psacard.com/pop before comparing prices.
How do I verify this slab?
Enter cert number 76177044 at psacard.com/cert and match the card name, set, number, edition and grade to the label and photos. Then inspect the case for cracks, scuffs or any sign of tampering.
