2003 Pokémon Sableye Holo PSA 9 - EX Sandstorm #10 🔥 Ear Swirl 🌀
This is the holofoil Sableye, card #10 of 100 from the 2003 EX Sandstorm set, in English. It is a PSA 9 Mint in the original PSA slab (cert 28947077).
EX Sandstorm is an early EX-era set built around Hoenn, and Sableye is one of its signature holos. This is a 60 HP Basic Darkness Pokémon illustrated by Hajime Kusajima, with two attacks: Supernatural, which lets you look at your opponent's hand and use the effect of a Supporter you find there, and Dark Bind, which discards a Darkness Energy to Paralyze the Defending Pokémon and deal 20.
Early EX holos are known for surface wear on the foil, and condition shows most clearly in the holo pattern, centering and edges. The grade confirms condition; the photos show how this copy presents.

Sableye #10 EX Sandstorm FAQ
How is the holo different from the reverse foil Sableye?
Same card number and artwork, different foil layout. On the regular holo the art window carries the foil. On the reverse foil the art stays flat and the foil runs through the border and text area. They are tracked as separate variants with separate populations, so confirm the variant on the PSA label before you compare against any sold comp.
How scarce is a PSA 10 on this card?
Only 19 PSA 10s out of 303 graded PSA 7 and up, about 6%, while 102 PSA 9s make up roughly 34% of that group. The 10 is the genuine scarcity tier, so look at recent sold comps for both grades to see what the spread is worth to you.
What should I inspect on an early EX holo?
Foil surface first: fine scratching and print lines show under angled light and are the most common reason a copy misses a 10. Then centering, corners and edge whitening on the back. PSA 9 allows minor flaws, so the photos matter more than the number.
Are the pop numbers exactly PSA’s?
They come from public PSA population data and are dated on this page. The count of cards graded higher is checked against PSA’s own cert page, but counts move as new cards are graded, so check psacard.com/pop for current figures before relying on them for a purchase decision.
How do I verify this slab?
Enter cert number 28947077 at psacard.com/cert and match the card name, set, number, variant and grade to the label and photos. Then inspect the case for cracks, scuffs or any sign of tampering.
